Ever wonder what those student fees you pay get used for? Ever wonder what the Students' Union does, what it encompasses and why it exists? If so, you're just like many students, including the students working at the Students' Union.
There are many Myths and beliefs about the Students' Union and what it does.But there are very few people out there who truly understand what the Students' Union as an organization encompasses.
Every year the student Executive, Council, managers, staff and volunteers working inside the Students' Union work hard to make the best decisions regarding what the general student body needs from them.
They assess problem areas and priorities for students and then go forth to make changes to hopefully make the Mount community a better place for all students. The work being performed within the Students' Union falls into many categories including accessibility, advocacy, awareness, communication, student life, student rights, student service and of course, governance.
