MSVU Welcomes All International Students
This is the most important event for international students at MSVU and our International Student Orientation is free!*
All new international students must register and attend. Orientation gives you a great head start on living in Canada, studying at MSVU, and meeting people. You’ll have the opportunity to get to know your way around the campus and services of MSVU and the great city of Halifax.
International Student Orientation is three jam-packed days that will include:All new international students must register and attend. Orientation gives you a great head start on living in Canada, studying at MSVU, and meeting people. You’ll have the opportunity to get to know your way around the campus and services of MSVU and the great city of Halifax.
- An ‘Amazing Race’ tour of MSVU Campus
- A chance to meet other students and all the people available to help you throughout your studies at MSVU
- A Canadian cultural orientation and MSVU academic orientation
- Information about Canadian Immigration regulations and your health insurance policy
- A tour of Halifax and a trip to Peggy’s Cove (Halifax’s number one tourist attraction)
- A shopping trip to pick up some warm clothing for Canadian winter and a dinner downtown.
After the International Student Orientation is complete don't forget to be involved with the Students' Union Frosh Week for continued Fun Activities! Sign up September 5th and enjoy!
