s.A.V.E. MSVU SOCIETY

S.A.V.E. MSVU (Students Advocating Visions of the Environment) is Mount Saint Vincent University’s Environmental Society. We are committed to creating awareness of environmental issues around campus!

We have Muggy Mondays every week in the Seton link, offering free coffee or tea to anyone who has a travel mug, in order to discourage the unnecessary use of disposable cups.

We have also organized educational events such as an environmental Speaker Series with speakers from NS Environment and HRM, among others, as well as movie nights (with free popcorn!).

For fun socials we have had society outings to the Wooden Monkey, a local organic restaurant in Halifax, and the Farmer’s Market. Don’t miss our bulletin board in the Evaristus link for lots of cool stuff on sustainability and environmentally responsible behaviour!
