Vinnie’s Pub & Lounge

Positions incllude bartenders, security, servers, coat check, door and DJ.
Must be 19 years of age or older

Information Services
2 Locations: Seton Foyer and the Rosaria Lobby

Working with the Information Services Desks includes the duties of reception, web administration, postering, photocopy and fax services and sales.

The Students' Union also provides employment in such areas as the Students' Representative Council, Elections and Special Events. All general staff applicants must be a registered full-time student of MSVU with a current GPA of no less than 1.7

SPEAKER

Duties/Responseabilities:
  • Chair bi-weekly meetings of the Students' Representative Council
  • Chair the Annual General Meeting
  • Use Robert's Rules of Order to conduct all meetings
  • Accept motions and prepare meeting agendas
  • Work with the Recording Secretary to monitor meeting miutes and amendmants
  • Work with the Recording Secretary to coordinate Fall and Winter term Studdent Representative Council Elections

RECORDING SECRETARY

Duties/Responseabilities:
  • Record minutes from bi-weekly Students' Representative Council meetings
  • Record minutes from weekly executive council meetings
  • Record minutes from the Annual General Meeting
  • Create and maintain information binders containing agendas, minutes and attachments from all Student Representative Council meetings
  • Work with the Speaker to prepare all Student Representative Council meetings
  • Work with the Speaker to coordinate fall and witner term Student Representative elections
